Actual torture memos exist of Bush giving orders for torture

I can't believe I just read this on Andrew Sullivan:

After he describes it from a link in the WP, he says this:

When Bush officials are eventually prosecuted for war crimes, these documents will be critical in proving the direct link from the White House to the torture cell. I see no reason, except for political protection, that the public should not see them. The Senate should subpoena them.




So would this fall to Rockefeller?

1. wow - our President really is a war criminal

Oddly, this is incredibly painful to write. As the said with your neighbor, this is ok with the people who claimed to have moral values that kept them from voting for John Kerry.

Did you notice Kerry's body language in the SC education talk where he looked absolutely repulsed when he mentioned the President wanted to be able to torture.
