1. nice pic, too!
This current succesion of news spots will be all he needs to get past the negative press he's had lately. People just need to see him and hear him speaking so intelligently. They (freepers excepted) are able to know leadership when they see it.

Speaking of freepers, Sam Seder was saying that psychotic people are drawn toward the Republican party, because they want strong, authoritarian leadership and values.

4. In all these appearances, Sen. Kerry
talked about moving on from PronounGate because we need to be about the people's business in Washington and settle down and get serious about the work. The American people want bipartisanship and some real progress on IRaq and on important issues like health care, jobs, the environment and so forth.

He said, in so many very nice words, that it's not about him and what happens to him because of The Joke, it's about the people and what they want the Congress to do starting in Jan of 2007. It's not about him, it's about 'We the People.' That is the message. (That will always be the message as it should be. )

So, so true.

8. I tell you what, it is a welcome change IMO. My husband and I
look forward to Keith Oberman and now prefer MSNBC to the other news stations out their. CNN has too many political pundits and news reporters that seem to lean Repub, and don't give the Dem's a break. That includes Cooper and Dobbs, Roberts, Crowley and John King, and Zahn- to mention just a few. They were the most vicious, IMO to Kerry during the "joke" episode. Larry King was at least gracious and seemed to feel obligated to show the flub and mention the poll.

10. And Blitzer too
He's cited on Media Matters' website fairly often for biased comments and questions. I'm with you on CNN: they seem to be trying to capture FOX's market, or else they are just lazy journalists. I also don't like it when they get on a "crime of the week" kick and have endless--and I do mean endless--coverage of the latest grisley murder or crime. I record Larry King, but only watch it when he comes up with somebody interesting.

Conversely, I think MSNBC is going to the left--or at least finding its spine. NBC too. Brian Williams interviewed Condi yesterday. They played it, but after every answer she gave, they cut in with footage of Iraq and what the generals or some other authority had said which contradicted the lie she had just told. I was delighted--that's real journalism. They didn't say, "what she said isn't true", but they showed it plainly enough.

5. That was good! I especially appreciated the video link.
I don't have cable so I hadn't seen it yet. Good stuff. But...does Rita Cosby always sound like that? Her voice sounded like she was getting laryngitis. It almost made my throat hurt just listening to her.
