Blogroll info collection thread

Hey Kerrycrats,

We're nearing the end of the year and, hopefully, the beginning of what will be a tough but exciting primary season. Now is a good time for those of us who have blogs to check in with our urls, so that others can check and link.

Brave souls who do their blogging on sites like DKos should remind us of that, too, so that we can be alert and have y'all's backs when necessary. You are all indispensible.

And, obviously, if you know of pro-JK blogs not affiliated with members of this forum at DU, please add them to this thread so we can all learn a thing or two about a thing or two. Oh, and so we can stop leaving people like Elias off the metaphorical Christmas card list :)

1. Check blogroll at Liberal Values

Besides the genearl blog roll I have a separate blog roll of Kerry blogs. It is somewhat arbitrary in deciding whehter a blog is more of a genearl blog or Kerry blog, and I have moved some blogs back and forth at times.

3. What is the sound of one blogger posting?

I don't actually maintain a publicly-accessible blog on my own site. I keep thinking that I probably should, but there's only so much Otter bandwidth to go around and putting up my own public blog would inevitably cut into the work that I do for other sites.

I do post here on DU, of course; and, to a lesser extent, over on dKos. I also pop in and out of various other comment threads around the web. You'll usually find me posting as M. Loutre (which is short for "Monsieur Loutre", which is French for "Mister Otter") or as just plain Otter, depending on the site.

My primary political blogging efforts for the last couple or three years have been as an "About Us"-level guy over at the Democracy Cell Project, though: http://www.democracycellproject.net/blog

And on both the original John Kerry blog and its recently-relaunched Version 2.0 rendition as well: http://blog.johnkerry.com

And I contribute front-page blog entries and articles to the progressive Culture Kitchen community (where you will also find links to a number of other finestkind poliblogs that you might not otherwise bump into here): http://culturekitchen.com

I'm also involved in some non-public online communities, but those are the main ones where you're most likely find me posting in public.

I'm looking forward to checking out the other blogs, both personal and communal, that crop up in the course of this thread as well.

6. The Unofficial Kerry Blog and the Dem Daily

http://kerryblog.blogspot.com/ -- A note about the Unofficial Kerry Blog - If anyone is interested in being a contributor there please PM me. Cross posting from other blogs welcomed. I don't have the time to always cross post, so it's a great place for someone without a blog to in and start blogging about JK, since it's already in the search engines, etc.

I'll be updating the BlogRoll there over the holidays and also on the Dem Daily to reflect all the various Kerry 08 blogs.
