OT: Did you see this about Hillary and Ségolène Royal? |
|
Ségolène postpones US tour after Hillary snub http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x2656739If this is true it makes me really mad because I hope that Ségolène will be the first female French president. And as much as I like women power I hope Hillary will not be the fist female US president. Could you imagine Kerry reacting like that?

1. I do not know if it is true given the two sources (telegraph + Parisien), |
|
but there are many reasons why Hillary may not want to see Segolene:
- she is Socialist. - she is French!!! - she has 4 kids out of wedlock. - she talked with somebody from Hezbollah.
Oh my! In Hillary's world and though all these reasons are litterally stupid, it may be enough for Hillary to postpone a visit until Segolene is president.
Only 5 months to wait and my son is mad because he cannot vote. He will be 18 on election day but not on December 31rst, so his first vote will be for primaries 2008. I am trying to make my pitch for Kerry, but I do not think he is set on somebody, except of course that he wants to vote Democrat (or he has to leave the house!!!).

Ségolène that is, not Hillary. LOL I especially love that she isn't married. I never got married to my daughter's dad and nobody here cares. That's something I really love about Europe.
I can't vote either because I still have my German citizenship and my daughter will be 18 only next July but I really really hope Ségolène will win. Sarkozy would be a disaster; I don't even want to think about it.
