Interesting poll results for Iowa here.

forget that it is way too early and forget the caucus poll results (Polling a caucus that early is just crazy, though I was happy to see Obama and Edwards toe to toe).

What is more interesting is the GE results, not so much for its predictive value, but because it more or less discard the notion that people dislike Kerry.

A couple of points:

1/ Clinton and Kerry have basically the same perspective at this point, even though the media have pushed Clinton and beated on Kerry for weeks now.
2/Obama and Edwards have a slight advantage, however, given the MOE of this type of poll (~4 %) and the fact that this is very early, these results (within the MOE for basically everybody) are very good for everybody.

It seems more and more that the worse problem for Kerry if he wants to run is to get Democrats rid of the impression he is finished.

1. Very interesting - and great considering

the amount of beating Kerry has had. Imagine where he would be if treated fairly. It will be interesting when he returns and speaks about the middle east.

while at the same time the same people claiming nobody likes him or would support him and how much he sucks as a candidate.

4. Well, people who make those claims have their own agendas

And they're not shy about promoting them, even though it's easy to see through most of the time. I'm not Hillary Clinton's biggest fan, and I wouldn't vote for her in the primary, but at least I don't make post after post trying to distort her positions and make her look bad. Others, unfortunately, feel the need to do that to Kerry.

5. True - yesterday one started a second thread with the same lie

that was beat down on the other one he/she was on. I posted asking why lie on a second thread - and the answer was that others lied about Hillary. I found the ant-Hillary thread - and as expected it was NOT sarted by Kerry people.

6. I don't think any of us do to much bashing of other candidates in GD.

or even GD-P. We may comment here, but even those comments are generally fair or warranted.
