We just don't know how bad things are for people living in Iraq. We know how bad it is for US forces there. We know it's worse for Iraqis, but we don't know how much worse.

This diary is far more important than the overheated bickering going on in the higher rated diaries. I admit to having slung a bit of mud there. But reading this puts it back in perspective.

As for the primary talk... if you voted to enable this goddamned war... if you were in a position to stop it and didn't try to do so... you have no business trying to run for public office. I believe John Edwards and John Kerry and Hillary Clinton are probably nice people who mean well. But I believe in accountability. Anyone who supported this madness should resign/retire from public service. We really don't need them.

Please do more of these diaries. Very good information.

I responded to that jerk, and gave him my Iraqi blog diary from months ago, and attempted to set the record straight. I really can't stand these people whose entire premise on who to support in '08 is of holding grudges and not forgiving. Gore has some pretty unstable supporters.
