JK voted for (failed) Dodd amendment
Edited on Tue Feb-12-08 12:15 PM by MBS
. . (Dodd amendment to FISA bill would have deleted civil-lawsuit immunity for telecommunications firms who assisted US government in warrantless wiretapping). Dodd gave blistering speech on CSPAN. Read these votes and weep for our country. And thank those who voted yes today, including JK. Dodd also gets special cred for continuing to push for the rule of law. I want to see this a bigger issue in this presidential campaign. It's CENTRAL to our democracy (or what's left of it).

5. There's also a bunch of stuff at Firedog Lake. As you know, Jane
Hamsher has been following this closely.

6. I just signed their petition,
which is being co-sponsored by Glenn Greenwald, who's also been all over this story.

4. Currently, Webb is catching hell on a rec'd diary on Kos.
I wonder when netroots folks are going to realize Hillary didn't bother to vote. She knows they're not with her, and is focussing on OH and TX. Probably the correct calculation in her mind.

7. She's up to her eyeballs.
Shockingly, her Latino supporters are not too thrilled about Patti Solis-Doyle's "resignation."

And Al Giordano notes that while Obama is spending a lot of time campaigning in Wisconsin, she's skipping the state to focus on Texas and Ohio.

8. Yeah, I saw that. Still, I will never count her out. She may well
sweep TX and OH handily, and we'll be back to where we were Super Tuesday.
