Collins' perfect attendance record imperiled by chicken pox

I'm not perfect, but my record is

Republican Senator Susan Collins who has made her perfect attendance record a centerpiece of her re-election campaign against Congressman Tom Allen may soon have to find another issue. Several members of her traveling staff have come down with chicken pox, and the Senator, who did not encounter the disease while building a perfect attendance record in Caribou Elementary School (a centerpiece of her first Senate campaign in 1996), is thought likely to have been exposed.
