Teresa Meets Michelle

Not a particularly worthwhile article but I still thought people here would want to know about it.

1. Actually, I liked the article, because it revealed something new to me:
Teresa Heinz Kerry welcomed Michelle Obama to her adopted hometown today, passing a torch from one occasionally controversial first-lady-in-waiting to another.

"You know there are not many people who have gone through this who you can reach out to and say, 'What is this going to be like?'" Obama said, praising the last spouse of a Democratic nominee as an "exceptional mentor to me personally" who has "been so generous with her time and emotions."

...

"Michelle and I have become good friends mostly through the Blackberries," Heinz Kerry -- introduced only as "Teresa Heinz" -- said at a gym at Carnegie Mellon University, where she serves as a trustee and her late ex-husband, Pennsylvania Senator John Heinz, taught before seeking public office. "Because she's not busy and neither am I." :)

I didn't know that they were in that much contact. That is nice to hear.

3. Thanks these are create
Michelle Obama is really impressive - as is Teresa. I like how the station has the uncut interview as well as the full speeches in those little boxes there - very nice. I hadn't realized how tall Michelle Obama is.

It is so good to hear that Teresa has been there for her. When sentences - fine in context - are spun to make you look horrible to the entire nation and they are replayed constantly, it is great that she has the support of someone who has experienced the same thing and who can understand.
