Okay, that freaking DOES IT! The vitriol against Kerry OUT THERE is out of control |
|
I mean, what the hell? Who the hell do they think they are dissing one of the most progressive Senators we have? These people are unserious when it comes to real principles. It's just a beauty contest pageantry for them. Otherwise they wouldn't be so willing to throw a great liberal under the bus because their candidate didn't get the nomination. Are they REALLY blaming Kerry for her loss?
I am just LIVID.

1. I saw, but these are the same 3 or 4 people in each thread I have seen. |

Amusing to see them support somebody who runs because his opponent voted for the IWR (at least it is his rational, whatever his real reason is). It shows how little logic there is behind their thread.

Remember that they had the lack of taste to bring up Chapaqudick when Caroline and Ted Kennedy endorsed. I never would have expected that on a liberal board. With Kennedy in the hospital, they can't attack him. In reality, they may be accurate that Kerry did help Obama win, but I doubt he could have done it without the sickening campaign run by both Clintons.
It is weird there are so many Kerry threads, but the silver lining might be that if O'Reilly does get on the ballot, many will have seen O'Reilly's own words that destroy his credibility. This may inoculate some who would have taken the PDA at face value. There were some MA people there who didn't know much about him. Your links and LevensonK's were great.

3. are you referring to the thread calling to kick Kerry out of the Senate ? |
|
i couldn't do a search but clicked back through the threads and saw that one. i actually felt bad for that poster before, but i fuck that, i don't feel bad at all anymore.
there are a few Hillary supporters i like and i try not to say anything too ugly when i think of them. but people like the OP in the thread i mention and others like the one from Hillaryis44 and a certain snake make it hard to hold back.

4. I saw at least 3 big threads hating on Kerry. |
|
I can't point them out here, but believe me they are there. It's the pile on on the Democrat who they blame for their candidate's loss.

it's because of a few things. first, if Kerry had not offered Obama the Keynote in 2004 he most likely would not be running this year.
also, Kerry's endorsement of Obama was made just after she had her "big comeback" in NH.
Kerry is someone they also view as a horrible candidate who knows nothing about campaigns. i'm not talking about all Hillary supporters here but there are some who are very anti Kerry and i mean those. they can't stand that Kerry actually was able to win the nomination and not Hillary. after all they are the ones who kept pushing the crap about how Kerry lost because he wasn't like them. i think they actually thought she would easily win the Primary since Kerry was able to.
Kerry has also been one of the few big names to actually criticize her and her campaign.
none of makes sense because if Kerry is such a horrible candidate, who cares if he supports Obama. they should be happy.and they tried to claim they were. i guess they can still celebrate Kerry and Kennedy getting egg on the face after the Mass Primary(and ignore that Obama was behind by over 30 points before the endorsement).
personally i think Kerry has mostly been kind towards Hillary. his criticisms were mostly directed at the obvious lies against Obama. not just random attacks on her policies or her including whe he campaigned for Obama. he has also said very nice things about Hillary when asked about her as vp or if she won the nomination.

Although I don't think some (not all) of O's supporters appreciate the senator being on Obama's side sometimes. Understand that people aren't or may never be over 2004, but the bashing coming from Obama's supporters doesn't make Obama or us look good. It's always funny to read the complaints about the media, then turn around and buy into everything they fabricate. JMO

7. I saw one thread yesterday |
|
and then I went offline and glued to the TV. As a general comment, the level of idiocy in GD-P lately has reached scary proportions (as did mine for wasting time to wade through it). Also, if Kerry contributed to her loss, kudos to him! And speaking of LIVID, it's somebody else I am directing my "lividness" to right now, but that's a whole different matter.
