Just because I know you will know ...

Who is Joan Venocchi (sp?) from the Boston Globe? And why do people read her?

I read the Globe on-line daily and her column "The Audacity of Ego" was most emailed today. I clicked the link and only lasted a few paragraphs. It was a nasty attack on Obama. Isn't she the one who is always taking cheap shots at JK, too?

I ask myself those same questions every time I read one of her columns. I have yet to come up with a satisfying answer.
Yup, cheap shots at JK is one of her specialties. Evidently, she's now branching out into Obama-land. (I did notice, during the primaries, that she mentioned that her daughter was a strong supporter of Hillary. I would guess that her daughter shared her mom's point of view).

But, again, why the point of view? This may be one of those questions that have no answer.:evilgrin:
(edited to qualify my statement: really pointS of view, as I really can't figure out where she's coming from most of the time).

3. Yeah, well

I only opened the column today because it was listed as most emailed. Then when I saw what she was saying ... I thought, wow, how snarky and how unnecessary.

But now I understand that's her "contribution" to journalism. She's going on my definite do miss list.
