After 19 years of working at the University of Alabama as a editor, his professional relationships suddenly soured, and he was fired on May 19.
Well, up to and slightly after his firing, he received a lot of threatening e-mails, too (including one that said: "Hey Schnauzer does you boss know you blog at work". The thread above is an attempt by DUers to ferret out the culprit, since Google refuses to.
They've already got a suspect. I'm reminded of the
great work Danielle Allen did to ferret out the creator of the "Obama is a Muslim" meme. Very interesting to watch this one unfold.
