Michelle Bachman (R) was on. I didn't see her interview, but it seems she was challenging our patriotism (see GDP). Cutter was doing great on defense until Matthews said Bachman made him think the country was really divided(paraphrasing). Then Cutter basically said if Bachman was representative of the mainstream then she was going to Canada. I think this spells trouble. I hope Obama Campaign knows about this. Your thoughts?

As to Cutter, yes she screwed up, but she was very, very upset. Shaken. She really isn't the story here. The Fascist of Minnesota is.

5. I agree she was upset...

...as she should be. As I was, and am, every time I've listened to Bachman. The Republicans use her a lot, as a media spokesperson and congressional spokesperson. She's always inflammatory.

I don't fault Stephanie Cutter at all. But the words she spoke can be twisted and used. I hope you are right and the story, rightly, remains Bachman.
