Yes We Can, Senator Kerry! (2+ / 0-)

You and Barack have my vote.
Nice to see you and Teresa handing out candy on Halloween. You've been kind of scare around Beacon Hill of late.

2. Wow. Markos himself rec'd it. That's a first. He never recs elected's diaries.
Guess he liked it, as did the entire community. The whiners on the thread are getting troll rated liberally.

They're still talking about you in Syria (22+ / 0-)

Dear Senator Kerry:

I visited Damascus, Syria early in October 2008. Every person I spoke to in the souk claimed to have met you, sold you some item or another, or heard of your interest in cobbling and shoemaking. (Really). Just want you to know that the people of Syria seem really grateful that you showed up, toured their capital, and were polite and interested.

Let's hope for rationality, diplomacy and good sense in our foreign policy from January 20, 2009 onward. Thanks for your efforts for this country.

I'll see if I can find a pic, but if someone does first, post it as a reply.

7. Thanks! I found another one from one of our wonderful pic threads here
and posted it as a reply on DailyKos. I had no idea how beautiful Damascus was, so it's nice to show it to others.

Absolutely warmed my heart. It's little encounters like that, that go a long way toward healing the wounds the Bushies inflicted.

Sounds a lot like "aloof" and "un-connectable" to me, does it not? :sarcasm:

I wonder if the Syrian shoemakers saw this picture:

I'm sure they'd say, "Look who my new customer is!"

10. Nice diary
A couple of "he gave up too early" or needs to take notes on how to run a campaign comments, but most, if not all of them are positive. :bounce:
