A little pitter-pat for Marvin
I forgot all about how exciting this is going to be for him. At least I hope there is some job for him in the White House. Great pic of him and the new boss, on election night.

We still love ya Marvin! :loveya:

5. Thank you
It feels all warm and fuzzy, knowing you live in a state that's 99% sane! Dem Governor, state legislatures, 2 senators, 4 of 5 Congressman. Merkley is a pretty good guy too, he got a lot done here and isn't going to be wishy-washy like Salazar and some others.

:woohoo:

7. we have two here in Wisconsin, but
it only seems like one-and-a-half. Sen. Kohl doesn't say much or stick his neck out very much. But Feingold makes up for it--hes a gem.

8. You also have a close Obama tie - Michelle's brother is the coach of Oregon State

(thanks to my husband for pointing the article and the connection out to me)

4. I saw him in person
a week before the election, he came over to me and gave me a big hug. Then I said let me take a pic of you for the JK bloggers and he grabbed my camera and put his arm around me and took a picture of the two of us. He is a genuine sweetheart.

6. You lucky person! I only met him once...
...when Senator Kerry was in Ca. campaigning for Angelides for governor. The same trip as the Pepperdine "Faith and Politics" speech.

He was very friendly and gracious...just a regular VERY nice guy. Ah, memories... :7
