He is approved by 41% of Republicans and 49% of self identified conservatives. I agree that after 26 years as a state level official and a Presidential run, you wonder if these 4% have trouble remembering their street address - though the unsure are higher among independents and Republicans - so I wonder if they just are not ready to move to approve. It is amazing how consistent his numbers are over the state and over the categories. I wonder if it is partially because of the coverage on becoming SFRC chair or that they now see he is staying.
(Kennedy's are also higher than I have ever seen, but that is to be expected - so I don't think it was just an atypical sample. It would be heartless or very Republican to say you don't approve of Kennedy at this point.)
