Did anyone see the last West Wing? |
|
It was a great beginning. C.J. walked on the prez and First Lady dancing. They looked like they were having some fun. CJ was like "Do you want me to leave you alone?"
Is it just me or does Stockard Channing as Dr. Bartlett (the First Lady) look and act like Teresa Heinz without the accent? Demopedia says the Jed Bartlett character is based on Howard Dean because he was a New England governor with a wife who is a doctor. So that may be...but doesn't their chemistry (the prez and First Lady) remind you a little of John and Teresa? A very sexy, mature, intelligent woman who argues with her husband about woman's rights and is always egging him about his health problems. Yep... the ideal president and First Lady, perfect combo of John and Teresa/Howard and Judy.

1. I have never seen this show |
|
I think it used to be on opposite Buffy or Angel and I just never acquired the taste. I hae herd that it was good. (I have strange tastes in TV shows. I seem to only like non-reality based ones. )

2. Please watch, West Wing if you can! |
|
God, it's good. Great to see a great Roman Catholic, president like Jed Bartlett (played by Democratic activist and Derryiac Martin Sheen) who supports stem cell research and admits he makes mistakes. Sound like anyone we know?

3. i don't watch the show anymore but Bartlett does resemble Dean |
|
i know he doesn't resemble Kerry.
but the first lady character played by Channing does kind of look like Teresa.
Teresa's father was a doctor and she said it's one of the things she likes and admires about Doctors Howard and Judy Dean.

4. Why don't you watch it anymore? |
|
It is still good. Bartlett's politics resemble Kerry's, although there is no physical resemblance between the two.

5. i stopped watching it long time ago |
|
i was just depressed over what Bush was doing. when i did watch it i usually taped it. after a while i got busy and just didn't have time to keep up and then stopped watching.
with Bush in office it was too depressing to go back and watch it just to think in real life we aren't so lucky.

6. I like imagining our country with a good Democrat as a |
|
president. Martin Sheen is also such a great man, on and off the screen.
