Seems like a lot of the old time Pittsburgh Steelers like Franco Harris, Lynn Swann have given money to Kerry in the past. Weird thing though, Swann gave money to Bush but has given money to Kerry and other dems in the past. Hah, I bet Kerry wants the Pats to win but I bet Teresa with her connections to Pittsburgh is a Steelers fan, anyhow go Steelers and Kerry.

I seem to remember something about this and some inter-family bets being waged between the Ma'ers and the Pa'ers when we had the big playoff game in 2002. Hope we get to do that again.

Last year Sen. Edwards was teased in NH about the Superbowl matchup of the New England Patriots Vs. The Carolina Panthers. I remember reading how New Hampshire folks kept asking Edwards how badly he wanted to win NH and would he root for the Patriots in order to garner votes. Edwards said he wanted to win real bad but wouldn't abandon his team. (Of course, in loyalty mad NE that was the right answer.)

Now Lynn Swann did give money to Bush, that I do know, But Although Misguided, I still love him...You're right about the fan thing, though... I can Imagine Teresa looking at John and saying "Welcome to Blitzburgh!!!!" BTW any news on Ben? I know he got hurt his last game????

and they was gonna rest him against the bills next week any how and we got a bye so he should be all right for the playoffs. Yeah, I don't hate athletes because I find out they're republicans. My sports hero, Ripken the longtime Baltimore Oriole may be one, I dont want him to be but you won't see me denouncing him and selling his rookie cards that I own and treasure.
