Something you guys need to remember...
Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, and Wolfowitz have been flinging crap for over 30 years now and they are damn good at it. Some of the things we have been hearing from KO and others are probably part of their misinformation routine. Even smart people aren't always immune to it. Immunity is something that takes work. Forgive DUers guys. they are trying, but this crapola is very confusing and even more frustrating, since we aren't all sitting in Kerry's office having tea with him every day.

1. I forgive, I just don't like people accusing a good guy like Kerry
of being a bushlite because of a few votes and saying outrageous shit like that he threw the election. I don't think any of us are having tea with Kerry, hell Ive never even got the chance to see the man speak live. I understand where you're coming from but I hate it when DUers are willing to eat our own so easily.

That kind of behavior does not accomplish anything.

7. They have just lost the ability to see past the rhetoric.
I think it is a temporary phenomenon. Kerry will ride in on a white horse at some point! I just hope our Senators give him the chance by standing up on Jan. 6th! We need to gain access to those machines! If no one stands up on that day, the information will be lost forever. They (BushCO.) will have people standing by ready to delete it all! The court cases won't matter unless we can dissect these machines. I don't think the judges are going to act on Kerry's request to freeze the computers where they are, until they realize our Government is halting the election results until they say yes! The deadline for the big decisions is the day after the electoral certification. It looks to me like the Rethuglican judges have given a challenge to the Senate. "Protest the certification, and risk your careers, or we are going to let him get away with it again!"

5. We all feel that way, but it is a little counterproductive to sanity to
spend so much time searching through the wreckage of this election and past elections. You do understand, I'm not accusing Kerry of being a bushite? I am saying the Bushites are still playing the propaganda game and that includes leaking information to shut down Kerry supporters. The skull and bones crap is just that CRAP. It is a smokescreen that Rove has been using to confuse. They did the same thing w/ Clinton. Clinton made them afraid that they would NEVER gain the office of Presidency again. Hell, I have NEVER seen someone wrap an audience around his finger they way that man did. They (BushCo.) are trying to CYA right now BIG TIME. We will just have to endure the roller coaster with as much grace as we can muster.

3. I do understand but...
Questioning and constructive criticism are one thing. Legitimate anger and frustration can certainly be expressed this way. Hell, who doesn't piss us off sometimes?

But repetitive vicious, unsubstantiated wild-ass attacks are ENTIRELY another thing.

I'm disturbed by people who seem unable to tell the difference, or disingenuously claim they're doing one when it's obviously the other.

If we can't fend off the poisonous Rove memes, who can? Should we just accept the poisoning is inevitable?

6. Call it temporary insanity...
It all seems to wash itself out in the end. A few white horse posts and then get out of the battle zone seems to working just fine. Again, these people will eat their words when Kerry's method becomes clear. He is poised either for greatness or complete disaster. I don't think he can stand to think he'll go down in history as the latter. He's NEVER been that kind of guy. Nixon was scared to death of him! Let the freepers think he poses no threat, that's what Kerry wants them to think! The freepers are eating this crap up!
