Forgive the question, but what is the straight poop re: Kerry's face? |
|
How did he de-hound himself?
Was it the jaw surgery? Did he get a face lift? I have to admit I look back at old articles from 2003 on Salon, and he does have a droopy look. I guess 30-some years of Vietnam nightmares will do that to a person.
But I do wonder.
Nevertheless, whatever he did, I'm grateful. He looks fantastic now. It was a needful thing.

1. 2003 he had prostate cancer |
|
matt drudge used pics of kerry during his prostate cancer treatment to claim he had botox.
but much of the difference is because of his hair cut. he use to have this big hair which put a shadow over his face. when he got the hair cut shortly before the iowa caucuses his face looked much more open and bright.

2. So he just looked tired and drawn from the treatment |
|
Drudge, that bastard.
I still remember the "orange" picture he used, which I'm convinced was just a lighting thing in the venue where Kerry was. I'd seen orangish-looking pictures of Edwards too. It was an exposure thing.

3. yes, the orange tan pic was altered |
|
i had posted some other pics of Kerry from that day where he looked like he usually does. and of course we saw during the debates that he didn't look any more orange or tan than usual. but Bush looked orange.
the thing i hate is that there were democrats and liberals who took what drudge claimed as fact and started using it against Kerry.

He's the one who tried to create some story about Kerry having an affair with an intern, which Kerry just sort of laughed at and the girl in question even seemed puzzled about. I guess he thinks he's Sam Spade in that fucking hat of his, but I hate to tell him he'll never be anything like the Bogey, so he may as well quit trying.
And John does look great these days. I know what you mean, some pictures of him from a couple years ago he looked... old. Now he could easily pass for 45. I couldn't give a shit if he's had something done, but honestly, I think it was the energy and the passion of the campaign. People say that he just lights up when he's in good spirits, and I believe it. I've seen him twice - he was so charismatic and energetic, striding across the stage with a confident air and speaking with a strong and clear voice. Drove eight hours to see him, even. Well, six hours to canvass for him, and an additional two to see him.
Gawrsh, Pluto... I miss the campaign.

on my birthday even.
And I was in the Milwaukee Rally in the rain on Nov. 1st.
He looked so happy, hugging his daughters. I should see if I have that pic on my computer.

Agh him and that hat of his. According to this on Wikipedia. "Drudge was relatively unknown before he began his Report and made national headlines. He was raised in Takoma Park, Maryland, near Washington, DC, where he was a reportedly a "loner" and a news junkie. He graduated from high school 325th out of a class of 350. He said, "The only good grades I got in school were for current events." At an early age, he worked delivering papers for the Washington Star and spent much time reading the paper" 325 out 350, jeez.

freeptard! I like that one. Never heard that before but it sure as hell fits! I remember all that shit about Kerry being orange and that was crap like someone said in a earlier post it was lighting. I remember that bitch Lynn Chenney making a smartass remark about someone's shirt matching Kerry's tan. Stupid bitch at least he isn't a walking stinking pile of shit like that ugly bastard she call a husband that had spiders crawling on him and flies mating on his bald head at a one of there so called rallies. Did you see that shit when Keith showed it on Countdown? He really did have flies all over his head and spiders on him just proves he's a walking sack of shit! And I was so pissed when freeptard posted those pictures of Kerry and made remarks about him when he was sick and getting over that prostate cancer. I hope freeptard falls over dead and rots in hell!!

10. Cheney -- Lord of the Flies! |
|
I knew it. The classical depiction of evil as like attracting like. (Except that spiders serve a purpose in nature, I don't think Cheney does.)
I think the pics during Kerry's illness were droopy. A couple of weeks ago there was a forum held at Harvard to talk about the campaign. Mary Beth Cahill was there as well as a reporter for the Boston Globe. (Rethugs were there as well, less said the better.) The Globe reporter was asked about the worst moment of his coverage of Sen. Kerry. He brought up the whole ridiculous cancer, lying thingie in the Globe (a truly stupid fight) and recalled how he had questioned Kerry about his health starting in Jan 2003. He saw him outside the Senate and said, "Hey Senator, you look like shit. What's up?" (The ridiculous fight, in print no less, was about Kerry not telling the Globe reporter that he had cancer. Kerry hadn't notified all of his family yet and wanted them to hear it from him, not the Globe. The Globe accused Kerry of lying and it was a big and totally inane fight. Personally, I thought Kerry was right.) So, for the record, the Senator was not looking his best during that period. Any pics after the treatment would look better.

I just got a mental image of Cheney's head shoved on a pike on a tropical island to be worshipped by wanton, savage boys reverting to primitives.
That's really shitty about the Globe thing. The man had fucking cancer; give him a break. They really don't cut him any slack, do they?

It made me sad. Yeah, that was nice... maybe it took the national spotlight and his grace and courage under fire for them to realize that he's not such a bad fella.
