Anyone watching the Owens vote? |
|
I'd just like to state for the record how very much I loathe Bill Frist. Sanctimonious amoral bastard.

Sorry - too much multitasking ;-). I meant to say I thought I heard him vote AYE.
So far the vote seems to be pretty much along strict party lines. Too bad.

9. That sucks. Oh well. OMG! We must run him out of the party! |
|
We must run a primary opponent against him!!! I'd rather have a nut like Coburn take his spot then have a Democrat who doesn't vote the way I want them to all the time!!!
;)

They are plotting about the Bolton nomination, I'm sure. Everyone is there but Sarbanes--at least I didn't see him.

10. Then Kerry went out through the Rep. side |
|
And shook hands with someone--Sen. Warner? Looked like JK was thanking him for something. They were clasping each other's arms briefly. Wonder what that was about!

14. Byrd is fairly conservative |
|
He voted for DOMA and for cloture on the FMA. He is not a liberal. Many people like him because of his opposition to the Iraq War, but they forget that many conservatives Republicans oppposed it as well.
