Wanna read what Kerry and I read?
Edited on Thu Jan-06-05 01:37 AM by JohnKleeb

Its about the 6 flag raisers on Iwo Jima, and its a profoundly moving and sad book. I am related to one of the guys in it. It always makes me sad when I read it because well my distant cousin Mike gets killed, sigh.

2. Its excellent
Very moving. Its ok about Mike, it will be 60 years since he died in February. I had a poem dedicated to him too as a freshman, he was a great guy, very much on my list of idols. This guy was like the real bonafide war hero type like Kerry, none of that John Wayne crap, I am a tad poed that they had Wayne play some made up character in "Sands of Iwo Jima", like goddamn. You should read it, another reason why I love it so much because it reminds me of my godmother a lot, who was my grandmother's sister and a favorite aunt of mine who died in the spring of 2001 just before all the shit broke loose. Life time democrat she was.

3. I Will Have To Get That One
Where can you buy this one at? I get alot of books from Amazon.com they might have it. I will check it out. I do read alot of books. Have alot of John Kerry books. You ought to buy the one John's dad Richard Kerry wrote called "Star-Spangled Mirror" it is the only book his father wrote. But a good one.

4. Its pretty easy to find
Look in any major book store's WWII section under Bradley. I should read that one by Richard Kerry and The New War. However, I got alot of reading to do for school and for pleasure.
