Anybody hear anything? This is taking way too long. IMHO. But I am just hoping it happens at all. Many seem to have forgotten his pledge. Maybe that is so momentum can be rebuilt?

1. I don't necessarily think he'll give a speech

He said he'd raise the issue. That could mean a lot of things. It could mean he was planning to raise it to the Dem Senate leadership, so they could come up with a coordinated plan. The RW was expecting him to give a speech. Maybe he decided not to give them what they were expecting.
