1. That isn't true. I worked with a lot of Latin media during the campaign. |
|
Often when time was short, they were the ONLY media given interviews! And Kerry personally attended every major Latino event in Arizona and we hosted several of the national ones as well. I was at every event and so was Kerry. Enuf said!

3. The media buys targeted swing states based on electoral votes. |

It had nothing to do with race or nationality.
If there was a heavy Latino population in Ohio and Pennsylvania, you would have seen greater Latin media buys there.
As it stands, the heaviest concentration of Latinos were in states that were already decided one way or another.
The author must be aware of that, but, it wouldn't fit the overall spin of the article.
Kerry spent alot of personal campaign time in Latino areas. More than any other nominee in history. Why doesn't the author mention that?

5. I'd like to see the repartition by states |

There was no point spending money in TX or in CA, both markets that were both expensive and safe for one candidate or the other. It made a lot of sense to spend money in NV and NM, but the main media there are radio and printed media, whose costs are a lot less expensive than TV.
In addition, hispanic people listen also to anglo media. They are not stupid, FGS.
