3. What was it?
And by who? I'd like to stay on top of this because I see it as a concerted effort.

4. I was emailed by the "Senior citizen OP critcising Kerry on Iraq
His reading comprehension is very poor, as he said that there were only 2 or 3 people on his thread that disagree with me and THEY ARE DEDICATED KERRY people who don't listen to rational arguments. He then said if I looked at the front page I would see that "we" were in the majority. I told him to reread my post. Did anyone else get emailed? I honestly can't see how anyone could read any post I ever wrote as anti-Kerry

5. that's interesting
in that the OP is trying to rally support for their anti-Kerry activities...

That OP has an interesting tagline, citing Winona LaDuke (Nader VP), Alexander Cockburn (counterpunch), etc. The agenda is definitely to attack Kerry and be as divisive as possible.

It's also interesting that the (coordinated?) wave of attacks these last few days seems to be coming from the Nader left fringe, or at least people posing as such.

8. This is that Rovian theory of mine again.
And many supporters of failed primary candidates are eating this up! It is very sad. But I actually think , in spite of a spate of these suspicious postings, that people are beginning to catch on to these people. More and more people are popping up to defend Kerry and other Dems.

9. Very odd timing, imo, considering the pending action on DSM.
When I was working at the Dem HQ in NC during the election last year, there was a constant stream of antiKerry letters sent to Dem offices all over the country, purporting to be from the left, but alot of their info could also be found at John O'Neill's wintersoldier site. I believe the GOP operatives had been planting bogus info for years expecting a Kerry run.

It's really only newbies and gullible lefties who have absorbed the lies. Even some of my former foes from the primary wars support Kerry's work now as they have become more familiar with him, just as many of us support Dean's efforts today. They are working together and we will, too.

10. Might explain many really obnoxious undertones
especially that Kerry only wanted to kill the Iraqis more efficiently. Cockburn had a review of Tour of Duty that someone posted once that managed to turn things around to somehow suggest that Kerry didn't care about bad things done in VN. It was almost the ugliest thing I ever read and was obviously 180 degrees from the truth.

On another thread there are quotes that Lakoff made about Kerry's Iraq position that are totally unfair. (If anything Lakoff is falling into a RW frame that Kerry's plan equals the (unspecified) Bush plan - when the goals are obviously very different.)
