Kerry and 51 other Senators voted against exporting uranium

"Thanks to your help, we achieved a major bi-partisan victory when the Senate approved a measure that makes it more difficult for terrorists to obtain the materials needed to make nuclear weapons. On Thursday, June 23, the Senate voted 52-46 to eliminate a dangerous provision in the Energy Bill that would have weakened current U.S. law constraining the export of highly enriched uranium (HEU), or bomb-grade nuclear material. Carper, Lincon, Pryor, Landrieu, and the other usual suspects. I can't imagine nany of their constituents would even be aware of this amendment, so I sure don't understand why they voted against it. Very weird.
