AGain, Kerry is a presence on this committee and this is damn interesting stuff, especially in light of the horrible tragedy in London last week.

SO, can someone keep an eye out for these. I have this off-site at 10 and may not get back until 1:00.

1. Here's one for you.
Lugar called on McCain first, and McCain said, "Due to his seniority and advanced age, I think Senator Kennedy should go first." General laughter. Then Teddy said, "That's ok, but I know where the power lies."

I love Teddy. He's still got his edge.

3. So, is the DC Thingee over?
How'd it go? Everyone have fun? Did you folks get around, see all the Senate offices and such and then go out and have some fun?

I hope so. I hope everyone had a great time. Sorry the good hearings happened on the last day. Isn't that always the damn way.

4. Yeah they fly back today
It was a great time, well we saw Kerry's office on friday I believe it was, and it was a great office, staffers are friendly as hell, and me and WEL may apply for internships there, and they went to some hearings yesterday while I napped at home in Va. Yeah we had a great time, and they are a great bunch to hang out with, we talked about other stuff too, and we got all kinds of inside jokes now hah. I miss em, I hadnt had that kind of fun in a while really, and we did a lot of weird yet fun stuff, like hoping on the Orange line and going all the way to New Carrollton just for the fuck of it, etc. It was a nice week really.
