I probably will end up going for them. I want last years world series again but to go 7 games. Its ok about Raffy, its not like it was Ripken, i grew up idolizing that guy tho I loved Raffy too. Its pissing me off how some are focusing on that hes a republican, who cares, its that he did steroids. I dont like Schillings attiude and politics but damn do I admire his ability as a big game pitcher, that game performacne in game 6 last year was incredible bloody sock and all.

With actors and singers, I can see why some people might care about their beliefs, because it's their job to express themselves. With athletes, they just play the game. That's all I care about.

Besides, every team is full of 'em. The Yanks have A-Rod, who I know donated the max to Bush, and I'm sure there are others.

but from what i have heard the Yankees are run in a very Republican way. they are really big corporate like. and i have heard the stuff about Steinbrenner also. so i don't really care who wins but i wouldn't mind the Yanks losing.
