Who's going to the Sept Anti-War march? (And Should Kerry speak?) |
|
Edited on Mon Aug-15-05 01:43 PM by TayTay
I am going to the Sept March in Washington. I know Rox is going as well. Who else in this group?
I am also going to write to my Senators and ask them to endorse the March and to arrange to speak to the gathering. (I have a feeling this might be the biggest US March since the '70's.) Anybody think this is a good ideer? I think it would be a way of making a definitive statement of opposition and purpose and to speak unequivocally in opposition to how this war has been waged. (And to speak whole-heartedly in support of the military families and for decent benefits for our people in the service.)

I would love to go, only about a 4 hour drive from where I live. I think it is time we crossed that river.

My son is suppose to come home from NYC for a visit sometime in Sept., I think I'll tell him to try to make it for those days so he can come with. I will definitely be there.
Thanks for the info. :patriot:
