The tale of the vanishing Vektor. |
|
Hello, fellow Kerry lovers. I realize I have been frequenting the Kerry forum (and DU in general) only very sporadically lately, and I assure you all, this is NOT because I don't love you.
THAT'S NOT IT.
You see, I just started my first semester of nursing school, and believe you me, it is, as Shrub-hole would say, HARD WORK. I have been totally immersed in my studies since school began, and am now preparing for my first written test tomorrow. (We had our first practicum on Tuesday, I PASSED!!)
So, if days on end go by and you hear nothing from me, or I only pop in a couple of times a week to make a lewd comment about Kerry's weiner and run, it is, again, not because I do not feel the love. I will attempt to drop in as much as I can.
:grouphug: What would I do without my fellow Kerrycrats, after all?

1. Always interested in what you have to say . . . |
|
These political blogs can get just SOOOO boring and wonkish and such. Hmmmm . . . if you had more time I would suggest you get a login at dKos and treat them to your unique way to describe your Kerry love. Some raised eyebrows would ensue indeed. I think it was you or maybe Wild Eyed Liberal who did that once on a flame thread here in DU, and it just changed the tone of it immediately. I think people were silenced when what WAS intense political tension was blown away by a different kind of tension. But I digress.
The JK forum wouldn't be what it is without you, so hopefully, you can find the time to visit us!

Have a Kos account, but truth be known, the hostile climate over there turns my stomach. I never go there anymore.
I DO however, enjoy spreading the Kerry love all over the Kerry bashing threads here at DU.

3. Don't fear, Vektor. We won't forget you. |

Good luck with school. When I read posts like yours, I don't miss my scholarly days (well, of course I do; there was no 'President' *). As enriching as they were, they were also painful.

Healing with laughter. It's important too. :)
Congratulations on your practicum. And the A on your test, wow, you're funny AND SMART! (I'm practicing the power of positive thinking)
We will take Vektor's haikus any time we can get them.
