I felt so bad for the young 'uns. But it was great talking to you. I think the real thing that happened was that two Massholes got to shooting the shit and cruising on down memory lane and it was great. You and I are about the same age, have fond memories of things that go back aways and some pretty deep memories of Kerry. It was really, really nice to converse with you. The Massachusetts forum is a bit dead, and it felt good to do the remember when stuff.

BTW, did you participate in the '96 race? I loved that one.

I didn't work on the '96 race. I've loved Kerry forever, but hadn't been all that politically active since - well, since the Vietnam era of my crazy hippie adolescence. (not really that much of a hippie - I'm joking - I was a bit too young for that era. I was more of a back-to-the-earth early 70's type. :-)) I did meet him in someone's living room back when he was running for Lt. Gov., and liked him immediately.

But * (and fear of him) singlehandedly changed all that. I wasn't a big Clinton fan, but he was ok. But from the first time I laid eyes on the chimp he scared the shit out of me. And he's done absolutely nothing since but reinforce my first impression. I'm an activist now! Spent many hours at the Boston office this campaign.
