For Massholes here:
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 11:29 AM by TayTay
From (gag) the BHerald: http://business.bostonherald.com/businessNews/view.bg?articleid=102107#related

Kerry is also asking for future donations to be brought to his Bowdoin Street office. Among items most needed are: canned goods (that can be opened without a can opener), non-perishable food items, baby supplies, mosquito repellants, bleach and other cleaning supplies, cases of bottled water, toiletries, individually boxed juices, individually wrapped snacks, rubber and heavy duty work gloves, dust masks, plastic utensils and paper plates.

Last week, Kerry also emailed his list of three million supporters asking them to donate directly to the American Red Cross.

I can actually drop some stuff off. (Going to Boston anyway for the Cindy Sheehan rally. Ah, Bowdoin street is close to North Station, right?)

Hey, any Massholes going in to see Cindy Sheehan this weekend? Meetup?

From his senate website: http://kerry.senate.gov/v3/cfm/home.cfm

Kerry, Massachusetts Business Leaders Send Emergency Supplies for Victims of Hurricane Katrina

John Kerry Will Fly to Louisiana Monday

Boston, MA - Senator John Kerry has teamed up with businesses across Massachusetts and the country to collect industrial-size quantities of food and emergency supplies to help those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Tomorrow - Monday, September 12 - Senator Kerry will travel to Louisiana to deliver the supplies.

Map!! It looks like maybe Government Center is the closest T stop. This is a different location from the campaign office.

2. So it is just a hop, skip and a jump from North Station

I have some of those things they asked for and they aren't that bad to carry. I can drop them off at the building on Sat and then go see Cindy.

Nice. I'm glad he's doing this.

And thanks for the map. I can read maps really well. I usually get to be the navigator on trips.

EDIT: There might not be anyone there Sat., but I'm sure there will be some setup to accept stuff.

3. I'd like to go
But I've got the sneaking suspicion that there's something I'm supposed to do on Saturday, and I can't remember just what it is.
