I want a pic thread
Edited on Mon Sep-12-05 09:28 PM by TayTay
I have no idea why. I just need a pic thread.

Damn, maybe it's a combo of the man and the uniform. Damn!

Sigh! I think Sen. Kerry had a good day today. He got some supplies to people who needed it. The major Air force base in his home state that was slated to close, won't. And Sen. Kerry got to be nicely snarky about the brown resignation. All in all a good day.

Ah, hell, let me throw in a fav, for the heck of it.

I love that pic.

12. He's such a family man
I love how he so often campaigned with his siblings last year (or other family members). With Shrub, you might occasionally see Jeb but never Neil or Marvin. I wonder why? Oh yeah, that's right, BECAUSE THEY'RE CRIMINALS!!

Thanks for all of the photos, especially the ones of him in jeans. It's only 6:30 a.m. and I've already got the vapors!!

15. in the family they all call him "Johnny"
I got this from his godson, who I heard speak last year. He drove up from Chicago to speak to us campaign workers. He's the son of a college chum of Kerry's--is it Bundy or some name like that? So to him, JK is "Uncle Johnny". :)

28. I wanted to post this so badly the other nite when these pics were posted
My daughter walked into the room and saw the pic of Kerry and his sister, and said
"Wow, John Kerry has really big hands."

It was one of those mom moments when it is nearly impossible to keep a straight face:P

I absolutely love that picture because it captures what very very few photos do - his normal expression when unguarded. He has an extraordinarily gentle and soft look.

25. That Grand Canyon pic brings back bad memories...
I remember hearing that him and Teresa were in a fight, that she didn't sleep with him that night. (I don't think I could ever get THAT mad at him:P ) So actually John is being very brave in that pic.

That was also the location where he said a line about Iraq that has haunted him. I won't repeat it, only positive Kerry thoughts from now on!
