I think this last one is a hearing on the bill Sen. Kerry just sent up. I think this is his bill.

Whoa! Those have major, major whomping possibilities. Geez, that should be interesting.

10 a.m. Small Business and Entrepreneurship
To hold hearings to examine the impact of Hurricane Katrina on small businesses.
SR-428A

This is the same time as the first Energy panel. I'm betting that Sen. kerry shows here and then shows at the energy panel in the afternoon.

4. This looks fascinating.
I read his statements re this in B&C.
OK, I need to get out more, but I'm in 'the industry', so this will be required viewing for me.
Most meetings don't involve swooning women. This should be fun.

5. AHm, that comunications hearing is on Thursday
Not tomorrow. Tomorrow is all energy all day long. (Not that that isn't important.)

You and I may be the only ones watching. The vote in Judiciary on Roberts is concurrent with the Communications hearing and the SBA hearing.

I will back-and-forth with the SBA hearing. Which Sen. KErry willattend first, as he is Ranking Member, then he will probably dash over to Commerce and talk about communications. Busy guy!

Oh, and in case I still suffer from 'date stamp-itis' here is the link with the actual committee dates and times: http://www.senate.gov/pagelayout/committees/b_three_sections_with_teasers/committee_hearings.htm

Hey, next week we get a hearing with McCain on steroids. The fate of the whole friggin republic hinges on whether or not Palmeiro took steroids, right? Yeesh, I almost hope Sen. Kerry skips that one.

10. You will have to fill me in on SBA.
The communications issue is must-see-TV for me. Since he's sponsoring the bill, I'm hoping he's front and center. Regardless, I have to watch (Damn, HAVE to watch Kerry. What a shame.)
I will post reaction from the crowd, as this will be conference room stuff. I really can't wait to see the female response. Our meetings are typically fairly dull, but this should be interesting.

11. UPDATE for GV:
PLEASE check the commerce committee site for updates on this. This hearing is listed twice, once for Sept 22nd and once for Sept 29th. I am suspecting a postponement. It could be because of Hurricane Rita and some of the speakers have day jobs that could take them away from testifying in Congress.

Check the Commerce site to make sure this is happening this week.

Is this why he's been so very strange for the last year and a half? :)

Sorry, just couldn't resist - the image was too good! Seriously, thanks for all the links and schedules. Looks like a busy week.
