Seven days without John Kerry makes one weak

I'm heading out of town on vacation tomorrow, only one week though, not FIVE like Shrub gets. I guess that's because I've never been elected President. Oh wait, neither has he!

Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone who's going to the DC Rally safe trip - give 'em hell! Also wanted to wish Tay Tay safe travels "all the way down" to RI to see her esteemed junior senator speak on Monday. I'll look forward to catching up on news when I get back in town.

I will let you know about my expedition to the outer regions of, ahm, Rhode Island as soon as I can. (And we are ridiculous people sometimes. But I swear, it's true. New Englanders considered anything longer than 40 minutes to be a 'road trip.' Small states and all that in this region, don't ya know. And I find this to be a funny attitude, especially when I find it out about myself. Sigh!)

4. A friend and I took a road trip to New England several years ago

and we stopped at a gas station (I think it was) in Rhode Island. When we got out of the car we noticed these little tiny flies. My friend commented on how small they were, and I said that since we were in Rhode Island and since it was a little tiny state, they had little tiny flies. (Location joke, I'm sure. It was funny at the time.)
