1. Autumn is really his time, isn't it!
Segue tomorrow from the appearance to promote aawreness of prostrate cancer among African-American men. Photo op at 11:00. Then this. (And Kerry owns the issue of the Arctic Wildlife refuge. He owns it. I wonder if Sen. Ted Stevens will wear his Hulk tie again, just to piss people off and remind them that he favors drilling in the AWR.)

Then Wednesday is the all day energy hearings in Commerce and Thursday is the communication in a diaster hearing in Commerce. Busy week. Nice job. Man deserves a raise. (And Sunday is the 375 Birthday party for Boston. C'mon, Senator you gotta show. March the friggin parade. It would be nice. Bring the Mrs. Cities don't just turn 375 in America every friggin day. Pleae come to Boston, we miss ya.)

And I happen to think Boston looks a day over 300. I was thinking about that when they were talking about how historic NOLA was. (And it is. I loved my visit to NOLA. It's a very special place.) NOLA was founded in 1714. Boston was 84 years old already. For America, we is wicked old.

And, I know it's kind of small-minded of me and stuff, but, damn it, he is MY Senator. And I want him and the Mrs. to march in the 375 B-Day parade. Cuz, I'm appreciative of him and I'd like to see him there marching along as one of the Bostonians who do the city proud.

Senators, sigh! You bring them up, you watch them gain national recognition, then you have to fight for their time. It's great and I'm feeling a bit neglected, said she who doesn't have Santorum for a Senator. (We don't elect Feebs in Massachusetts. And Santorum is a wicked feeb.)

* Feeb = Feeble-minded person. A person who you can't trust with your car keys, never mind your vote in Congress.

Eating crow moment: Cuz I was so pissy above. Sen. Kerry draws really well outside of MA. Really really well. There were hundreds of people besides me turned away today. Hundreds.

3. Wow, 375 years
From someone who grew up in the west, whose US history basically started in 1849, 375 years is amazing.

I soooo thought the campaign should have played heavy on the Revolution and reminding certain people who fought for this country first. Surely the Senator had the pull to get Boston and Mass, and maybe the whole of New England, to put on the biggest "patriot" oriented tourism campaign ever, doncha think? *sigh*

Have a great birthday!!

5. Is this out there??

Sinking in GD, if the rally doesn't get some attention, they can claim the people don't care. It's the perfect time, people are keenly aware of the harm of climate change right now, but they need to know there's political attention on it. Need to spread this around. The link to the rally and web site is in the blog post, press releases, etc. Easy schmeezy.
