11. I re-watched his acceptance speech on Super Tuesday yesterday.

(yes I am a glutton for suffering, and yes this is Teresa-related)

Anyway, just before he started talking, waiting for the thunderous applause and cheering to die down, he motioned toward Teresa. She thought he wanted her to stand closer, but it turned out he just wanted to touch her shoulder for a second--for confidence and support maybe. It was so sweet. She really is his "rock".

14. That is a gorgeous picture

Anyone who saw either of his daughters speak at the convention had to know that he had a wonderful relationship with both of them. He looks so protective in that picture. I can't picture Bush either hiking with a daughter or having this type of relationship.

People here have said Laura may envy Teresa, but I think in their hearts, the Bush twins might envy Vanessa and Alexandra. The Kerry girls have a dad they know will always be there for them. I loved that Vanessa on Nov 3 told her dad that she was proud her last name was Kerry. It seemed the perfect thing to say. Bush seems far less connected to his girls. If the Kerry girls were not capable of writing a speech , I doubt Kerry would have approved a speech like the one written by Karen Hughes which would make the girls look like spoiled brats. Why Bush did is beyond me.
