Wow. Read some sweet, sweet Kerry lovin'
at DailyKos!

Lots of people fed up with the bashing there too.

"This is What John Kerry Did Today" is about the funeral pictures yesterday and people's response to that. Full of poems, testimonies....lots of crying on that thread.

"The Real John Kerry" is about just what it says.

And "Losing My Religion: A Crisis of Political Faith" is just an incredibly-written personal/political essay about the immigrant experience, the American spirit, faith, character, etc., and dealing with the shattering loss of hope of that some of us feel. Stephdray is one of the absolute best writers there, IMO, I'll click on anything of hers. Of particular relevance here is "Perhaps too, the unusual and infinite tenderness I feel towards John Kerry since his concession speech may fade over time as well. I love him far more now than I did the day I voted for him. I can't explain it. But for now, he represents an image of profound personal loss, he represents the work I did, the dreams I had. He is the personification, by happenstance, of all that I valued. I am sure that is part of some post-traumatic stress syndrome too.

So, I am not yet over the election yet.

I fear I never will be.

There is a very dark hollow core in my heart where faith once was. I don't know who I am without it."

It's all powerful stuff. If you want to sacrifice your eyesight to a really good cause, read all the comments. Yeah, the haters check in. And they look as petty and spiteful as they are, by contrast.

3. WOW
I know the feeling. Ihave yet to get over this election and like many I don't know that I will. John Kerry is my hero. This man is one of the nicest, good hearted, caring man I have ever met. I would do anything for this man. I have never felt so close to a politician in my life. For that matter I'm yet to see another politician that would even come close to this man. He truly is one of the greatest I have ever seen. This man really cares about others he is not self centered like so many politicians are. I truly love and have the upmost respect for this man. I will always have his back. I have to say I have never been this emotional over any election or politician in my life. This man brought out the best in alot people. I have cried so much over what has happen you would have thought someone died. And no matter how hard I try not to cry I do.
