Hi everyone! I've been lurking here for a while. I really love this forum: it helps my sanity to come here and read your posts.
Oh, by the way, there is a new site that I came across, that you will probably like as much as I do. You probably know about it already, but just in case:

You've found a great place full of great people! Thanks for the link by the way. We have a member named Vektor who specializes in penning marvelous haiku (quite often about the Senator's ahm, finer physical attributes ) so she may very well be interested in this site (as will the rest of us, I'm sure).
Again, welcome on board!

So glad you decided to deactivate the cloaking device and join us. (I can use that phrase. I am a self-avowed geek.)
And thanks for the link!
So, come in already, grab a chair and start gabbing like the rest of us. We are not a shy group. (Ok,maybe it's just me, but somebody around here is not shy.)

It is difficult for me to avoid threads where there is Kerry bashing going on. I try to get out and comment on other issues, but when that red flag goes up...

I used to be a proud Massachusetts liberal too. Now, I'm a proud NH liberal. I'd trade both of my Senators for either one of yours any day though. :7

Still southern NH? Do you think Shaheen will run again, given all the stuff about phone jamming in the last election. (And Sununu is an idiot.) Hey, that scandal ties into Abramoff and Delay. It's big.

I really do hope Shaheen runs again. It outrages me that the phone jamming gets very little national media attention. Sununu has my vote for worst Senator ever. Wait...I remember his father.
Delay and Abramoff...just the tip of the iceberg. Huge, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it get much worse. They might be crooks and liars, but there is no perfect crime. Evidence can always be found. They can run...

And I'm at the airport a lot. (Real pretty road right now, btw.)
There is hope for NH. We did turn it blue last time. (Yeah us! I worked in Nashua, that was fun. Nashua is a pretty little town, great restaurants, and I found the Che store. Honest.)
So, now that you have outed yourself as a Granite Stater, were you there for the last primary and who did you go for? (Did candidates cook pancakes for you? Chile? Walk in the parade? I love that about NH.)

Wes Clark did bag groceries in a store in my town though. It was a general store... I voted for Kerry in the primary, of course.
Nashua is great for shopping and restaurants. I used to live there a couple of years ago. Thank you for working to turn NH blue. That is the one small consolation that I took from the election.
I guess we get to do it all over again in 2008. I really hope we can stay blue.

Sununu Sr. wasn't a Senator (I knew that). He was Gov. Okay, John Jr. is the worst Senator ever and his dad was the worst Governor ever.

We probably shop at the same Costco. Geez, you'll tell _dynamicdem that, but I've known you for months now and I never heard about the brother in Nashua. Humpffh!
Geez, you think you know a person, then you find out they have a bro in Nashua. Humpffh!
(Of course there is the little matter of me not being able to remember that Babylonsister and not Pirahna did the Birthday Cards. Sigh! Nobody's perfect I guess. At least I finally and decisively can state that WEL is from a state that does not make cheese and probably is not near Wisconsin. That only took about a year to seep into my brain.)
(Can someone buy me an Atlas? I can't find youhz guhz on a map at all.)

 but, but, but, I didn't know where Lowell was, barely know where Nashua is, only have been there once. So you cross the border to get a tax break huh ? My sister-in-law would never buy anything in N.Y. while visiting.

Before I moved here I couldn't find Nashua on a map. I am one of America's least talked about disability groups: geographically challenged.
But truly, your I might have bumped into your brother when I was buying things in NH. (That I, of course, immediately file MA taxes on, ahm, honest. Actually the big stuff has MA taxes taken out anyway.)

I LOVED the poet site. Thanks for pointing that one out. So far, my favorite is the scarey Kerry limerick. I'll say no more so others can have fun reading that site. I just can't believe the devoted Kerry fans out there!! The fact that people are composing poems in blog speed just blows me away.
Thanks again, and I look forward to chatting with you.

I don't know who wrote the poems but I'm curious. Very creative. And so liberal! Very few conservative poets, I suspect.

It is such a relief to find a forum that is a safe haven from Kerry Bashing. Everyone here has such strong support for Senator Kerry. There is also so much spirit and hope here. Very nice.

I am jealous. I wish I could write like that! (All my limericks have that damn Nantucket in it. Sigh!)
I love the teacup poem and the poem about LA and the Massachusetts liberals invading. Wonderful

No talent for poetry here, but these are fun to read. The site is new and there aren't many comments, so it probably hasn't been discovered by the general public yet. I came across it by chance doing a search for Kerry news on Yahoo.

29. Welcome, Ann, to the Kerry Forum |

I usually check in before I go to bed. I'm a night owl, and an insomniac. You are going to love it here. These guys are "something else" (don't ask me what!) You will find most of here are "in love with John Kerry" (more like in lust) By the time I check in, my sleeping sedative is usually starting to kick in, and I end up having to retype every other word. After I read all the posts, I went to your poetry thread. Read them all, loved them all especially the "bubble" one. Once I get on the GD page, looking for any new news about "plamegate" and the indictments, I'm pretty well "newsed out" I guess you could call it overkill or total saturation, but I love it all. Wishing you many happy posts, and many new friends. :grouphug: Goodnight Y'all!!! Love DC PS Bookmarked the poetry site. How often do they get new writings?

Oh my. Well, he does make a rather presentable looking President (there I go again...still in denial).
