5. So, what's the deal with this, Tay Tay?

The NG can't do anything until the dam actually breaks? Is that what Sen Kerry and Teddy are fighting?
So proud of Teddy, BTW. I think he would try to hold back the water himself if that dam broke. Any good stuff about the rescue attempt the other day? I saw very little except on CNN.

8. Well, what if the dam holds?

Then everybody stays dry and nothing happens. (Well, eventually that idiot Romney figures out that we have infrastructure problems in MA and decides to stay home and do something about it. Like that would ever happen.)

Sens. Kennedy and Kerry are showing their constituents that they are on the spot and ready to assist should something happen. I dare say that this Senatorial delegation from MA is quite good at putting forth legislation for the entire country. (I would further state that they have done very good work in trying to get needed funds for Katrina victims. It is very nice, locally, to see that this good work extends to Massachusetts and that they are right there when we might need them. Ahm, they are fairly well known nationally, you know, ahm, but, ahm, they belong to us. I don't mean that badly or anything, but, ahm, they belong to us. Until 2008. They have to work for the locals, you know what I mean. We ah, do have a claim.)

Uncle Ted probably knows the name of every Dem in harms way in Taunton. That's just the way he is. I believe you are right. If he could hold back the raging flood with force of will, it would be done. LOL!

4. I saw some footage from Taunton, and Sen. Kerry

was wearing a blue tie, I'm thinking. He was w/Kennedy, Romney, and the leaves were turning. I distinctly remember a different colored tie, for some odd reason.

Legislation is going to take time while Romney is standing around with that $hit eating grin on his face. Isn't it his job to protect these homes and businesses?
I will never understand how you guys elected Romney. And that's coming from a state that put Santorum in office. I'd like to think Rendell would have the sandbags out by now after what happened in NO.
Nice that the focus of the story was Kerry. He looks wonderful, BTW.

9. And Romney obviously hated being there with him.

Romney had a nice little grin on his face when Uncle Ted was speaking. (As well he should. He was in the presence of the Greatest Senator Who Ever Lived. LOL!) But he was decidedly not grinning when Sen. Kerry was speaking. Bad blood, inner knowledge that Sen. Kerry does indeed have better hair than him or just all around jealousy. I report, you decide.

Boy they really don't like each other. This is the second time I have seen this bad vibe. The first was when they all were trying to save Otis. Same look on Romney's face when Kerry was speaking. (Romney just doesn't like Kerry at all. And, I think just based on having eyes, that Kerry dislikes Mittens intensely as well.)

Romney hates us, yes he does. He hates us and our good Dem Senators. He wishes they would all go away so he could be the savior of the Bay State. Not going to happen Mittens. Go back to Utah, you carpetbagging son of a bitch.

How did we ever elect Romney. Sigh! Massachusetts Democratic Gubernatorial primaries have been death matches. They occur 8 weeks before the general election and there is not enough time to heal the wounds of the primary or for Dems to get enough money (and their shit) together to have at the Rethugs in the general election. A certain tall wise man mentioned earlier in the year maybe doing something sane, like moving the primary up a few months, but we haven't done that yet. Sigh!

Next year should be fun. Everyone hates Romney. I am thinking that Romney is a unifying figure for the State Dems. We hate him so much more than we hate each other. It just might work as an organizing tool. BTW, the reason Howard Dean spoke at the Dem Convention I was at this year was to warn MA Dems to get their shit together and not hold such a divisive primary that we, in effect, commit electoral suicide in the Governor's race. I concur. This is not a good thing. We should reserve a lot of ammo for the Rethugs next fall. (This is very difficult for MA Dems. We are passionate about who we hate, very passionate.)

10. Yet more proof that I'm under the John Kerry spell

I now pay as much attention to what the weather is going to be like in Massachusetts as I do for my area. (When I'm watching the Weather Channel that is.) That's pretty bad.

I also noticed Romney's stupid little smile in that report. You could almost hear what he was thinking by looking at that smile.

11. I just looked at the video

I think Romney's smile with Kennedy looked contrived, but he really has a problem with Kerry. He was blinking, looking down, giving him mean looks. (Kerry meanwhile looked over in Romney's direction at the end of the phrase about you can't notprotect lifes and property <look at Romney>. Much smoother, but I doubt it was accidental.

I also clicked on a Romney story where some MA NG troops wanted him to come out against the war. He made Bush seem almost human! He just seemed cold.

Why would you even put his ugly greasy looking hair in a comparison with Kerry's silvery shiny hair.
