1. Thanks for the heads up.

I saw where Whome mentioned it this morning, and I tried to find the replay on line but it wasn't up earlier but it is now. I hate to admit it but I'm very satellite radio challenged, and this is the first time I've ever listened Stephanie. She read the first couple of lines. Very cool. I don't know who sent it to her (she said the Keith Olberman Estrogen Brigade - I love Keith but I'm a member of a different Estrogen Brigade ;). )

2. Stephanie Miller is hilarious!

I only get to listen to her Sun afternoons, that's when the local aar
station puts her on. She is great. All the impersonations they do there. They have alot of fun on that show, I can see where your poem would fit right in.

I listen all the time! Jim's voice impressions are the best!! I love when he does Al Gore. Oh my gosh it sounds so much like him it's amazing! His Rummy is hilarious too. I heard that episode and I was like "hurray!". I'm so excited for Fitzmas!

9. LOL. I think my fifteen minutes of "fame" have about run out!

Funny thing is I wrote that in about 10 minutes while I was also busy doing a bunch of other stuff at work. I was standing up and moving around a lot which is about the only way I really get inspired to write creatively. I obviously don't do that most of the time when posting here!

Like I said, I forgot who the DUer was who coined the term Fitzmas, but he/she(?) is really the one who deserves the credit for having people in the real world mention DU.

I don't know if this is true or she was just joking around, but Stephanie claimed to have invented the term "Fitzmas." Again, she's always goofing around, so who knows? But the guys on her show usually call her on bs and they didn't on this.

I LOVE Stephanie Miller. The Boston AAR station has her on from 9-12 am instead of Jerry Springer, and she really helps me through the mornings - esp. bad ones. You can stream her show live from her website.

You haven't lived till you've heard her "Lying Sack of Crap" song, and her voice guy's imitation of Bush riding his bicycle and talking about "I like toast." is hilarious.

And then there are her names for wingnut assholes.

Rush Limbaugh= drug-addled gasbag. Etc.

I hadn't seen that thread, but got the idea after joking around about Fitzmas with Tay Tay one evening last week. I guess it's damn near impossible to be truly original in this world isn't it?

I had never listened to Stephanie Miller until my ego drove me to (mainly because we don't have an AAR station in my area) but now that I've heard her I will definitely listen whenever I can via her website. I listened to Friday's show and it was cracking me up!
