Wow! Talk about taking the fight to the enemy.

I never thought I'd admit to being tempted to watch Hannity & Colmes. But I may have to be brave and watch it anyway.

Hannity? He is the worst of the worst. Why oh why, I'd rather watch Scarborough, anybody, than Hannity.

5. somebody strong has gotta watch for us/I can take a lot, but not Hannity |
|
I accidently hear 5 minutes of Hannity one day on the radio. Never again. More willfully ignorant than Ann Coulter.

what he may be in for, and is prepared for the worst.
I'm going to try to watch, but I'm not sure I can handle it for very long. H&C made my teeth itch the one time I tuned in.

10. Colmes was at the speech today |
|
I spoke to him briefly, since I was an usher. I recognized his face, and it took me a minute to realize who he was until he said "I'm with Fox News." And he stood up and watched the speech from the side - he was only a few feet from me most of the time.

|
I love how Al Franken in Lying Liars never capitalizes Colmes. . .
Always "Hannity & colmes"
However this makes it seem like Colmes will interview Kerry, rather than Hannity.

12. Yeah, definitely not an impressive figure |
|
He's very quiet and kept to himself the whole time - he came by himself. In his hands he had a huge stack of newspapers. He didn't seem at all like someone who would be on TV - which is probably why it took me a few minutes to figure out who he was.

Anyone have the stomach to watch? Ann Coulter and Hannity nearly killed me at the beginning, but the Kerry interview was great - especially his last paragraph. He got everything in there - tax cuts for the rich, morality, energy independence. I'm in love all over again. :loveya:

I started off taping the whole show but I got so nauseated by the pre-Kerry parts that I just rewound and only taped the JK interview. (My VCR thanked me.)

The talking heads act like they will be turned to stone if they dare breathe Kerry's name on CNN or MSNBC, but FOX is interviewing him! This is a first.
Sean Hannity...eeew. The horrors we are willing to watch and hear our "President" in action.

24. I noticed that too. I have a thought on this though. |
|
It seemed to me that Hannity was all worked up about the other Democrat on the program saying that Bush mislead us and he agreed in large part with Kerry's statements. If other's who voted for IWR follow Kerry's lead and call out Bush, and Hannity and Repub radio stations pick up on talking points, continuing to argue on behalf of the President, this may become a larger story and open up debate on this issue. Get it out in the open- for discussion.Have the media address it and do some real work for a change. If this happens, then we have Kerry to thank. He may even get some respect from CNN and MSNBC.

Tonight Shrum was talking to Tweetie and he quoted Kerry's very words on Iraq without even mentioning John Kerry by name! It's like they are all told not to dare mention the "K" word. Then Tweetie nearly said Kerry's name but opted instead of using the generic "democrats say..."
How can they ignore everything Kerry has done and said since the election! He's been absolutely amazing.

and I felt very emotional watching him and listening to him again. Damn.
So is Colmes a republican or a Democrat? I couldn't tell. He almost seemed like a lefty to me, but then, he didn't say much, I guess. I'd never watched the show before, though I had caught glimpses of Hannity spewing his filth during my nightly channel flipping.

Colmes is a democrat, but his quiet demeanor is no match for the loud mouth Hannity. You know, this is Faux's version of "fair and balanced". Colmes has a pretty good show on Sirius.
I'm glad to know that Kerry is not on till the last 5 minutes. Even tho I am looking forward to seeing Kerry, I am DREADING having to listen to Sean.
