SBVT book publisher makes snob book, Kerry's don't
"..To thumb through the 2005 edition's 436 pages is to stroll through D.C's most exclusive neighborhoods. There are ambassadors, Supreme Court justices, corporate giants, lobbyists, philanthropists and senators among the 5,005 names.

While Kerry did not make the list, Alfred Regnery, the conservative publisher of ``Unfit for Command,'' the book that helped sink Kerry's presidential bid, did."

Neither did Teresa, or Ted Kennedy. So much for Massachusetts elitests, I guess.

1. of course
a snob thinks they are better than others.

Kerry is a man who acknowledges his priviledged(though not wealthy) upbringing. he knows he has had opportunities that helped him do better than others who don't get those. one of the reasons the issue of "service" is a big thing for him. not just military but any type of volunteer type work where you give back because you have benefited from this society. and he wants to help those who don't get the opportunities that he got.

of course Bush is a snob because he thinks he made it where he is on his own. he thinks those who don't is a result of their own laziness and their own fault. but we all now Bush has gotten by on his dad's name and money. without that he would be in prison.

also, do you notice the attack on liberals is usually as being either a lazy person on welfare or a limousine liberal ?

but conservatives who are rich are seen as hard working. poor conservatives are seen as being victims of liberal policies like affirmative action or the "death tax" .

2. Good
What a stupid list. Who the hell would want to be on that list anyhow? Unless you really are a snob.

3. yeah and they gave the Medal of Freedom to
Paul Bremer and those guys! So we're definitely "Through the Looking Glass" as Alice would say. Up is Down, Black is White. Nothing means anything in this screwed up administration. Oh for some sanity.

Oh yes and: War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength. (Sorry, I'm reading Orwell's 1984 right now!)

4. "Hahaha'
That was so dang stupid to award people medals for all their screw ups. I tell this is truly the dumbest and incompetent administration I have ever seen since I have been alive and any that I have ever studied in school. And * proves all the time just how dumb he is. He is an embarrassment to this country. That dummbass can't even chew bubble gum and walk at the same time. Sheesh!

8. I want to do the same...
...whenever he says the f-word in an interview.
I remember reading one of those dime a dozen lame-o articles written by an "unnamed campaign aide" who tried to say JK was temperamental and screamed "FUCK!!" at him for some minor thing....
Of course this douche's goal was to try to make a buck selling a smear story to a neocon rag, but all he succeeded in doing was arousing me.

I LOVE it when Kerry says "fuck."

13. Don't forget "compassion" and "spreadin' the peace."
That Ass (i.e., G.W. Bush) has forever ruined the word "compassion" for me. I'm sick of people telling me he has integrity, too.
:puke:

For what it's worth, John McLaughlin (yes, the bellowing ex-Jesuit from the Nixon White House) has been praising Teresa Heinz Kerry because of her philanthropic work. Old J.M. says Ms. H.K. got a raw deal during the election, and I concur. I hope Mama T has many, many years of good work ahead of her...
