It is really become a twilight zone out there. Now there is a post a philosophical rant about Bush being "just" because everyone is equally hypocritical and he got away with fooling all the weaklings, except one certain Democrat.
There is another linking Dean's and Kerry's position on Venuzuela.

got a "Create A DU Identity Kit" for Christmas and he's trying it out. Anyone who says * is "just" in regard to ANYTHING really shouldn't be allowed to post on Democratic Underground.

the argument, seemingly, is to prove that every other Democrat is weak except one.

3. Can I say * is just awful, or just despicable or ....... |

I agree with you that someone is trying to create trouble on the 'just' one. The Venezuala one is not Rovian - the poster posts often, is sincere, has consistent views and isn't one of the people out just to provoke.
I think that the left is too quick to accept someone fighting the right (or dissing Bush). This is easy to do - but it's the same as when the US backed several bad dictators because they were anti-communist. (The communists were't good, but neither were the dictators.)
In Kerry's case, his comments in committee when CAFTA was discussed show a man very concerned that, per a recent study he referred to, that the poor in Mexico were negatively impacted by NAFTA. (His ability to re- look at things is a plus) On CAFTA, he mentioned the bishops being against it and that it stripped out the one means to go after worker abuses. He didn't want the stigma of Chavez's endorsement and had some problems with Chavez's past, but he clearly was not for the ruling classes or the large corporations.
My guess is that Dean is likely in a similar position.

people who want you to believe purism and politics are one in the same, then go about distorting people's positions.

4. The first one is just moronic. |

On the second one, though, I have issues with Kerry's position on Venezuela. I think he was trying to be too hawkish there and dont necessarily disagree with the poster. As for Bolivia and Dean, let's wait what the new Bolivian president does before we start throwing him stone.

6. Add the comments that Kerry should not have proposed the child pornography |

Bill because it is going to interfere (???) with the NSA scandal.
I sometimes wonder who are these people on DU that have no heart at all, but think that all is politics (it reminds me of people who were all happy about Katrina because they thought it would bring Bush down). No surprise that some people cant see the difference between the left and the right and think that people are not sincere.
