Anyone catch Imus this morning?

He was interviewing John McCain over the phone and out of nowhere he mentioned receiving JK's Christmas card in the mail this week and asked McCain if he knew what was up with that. As Imus spoke,mentioning that he had supported and voted for kerry, the card was held up on display and remained there until most of the interview was concluded. I was LOL, of course, you just know Senator Kerry will get it from Imus for the late card from Friends of John Kerry.

But my card was mailed earlier than Imus's - maybe JK knows I'm a better friend. :rofl:

2. Well, I appreciated the card. Some people are way to self important.

Imagine, to expect JK and THK to personally sign every card they send out through Friends of John Kerry. The current administration does the same thing. I suppose it's OK for them though.
The e-bay card is older,it appears to be from 2003. The way I view all of this is, any Kerry mention is in a way promoting him- people remember the name mostly- not necessarily the commentary.

especially when it's a stupid discussion. No one will remember the silliness, but they will remember Kerry's name.

Anyone unappreciative of receiving the card, can be replaced on the list by me and countless others who would, I'm sure.

4. I saw it

I really don't know why Imus does stuff like that. But I also liked his letter to Poppy, especially since he followed it up with "Lyin' Eyes", that one was awesome.

Did you notice McCain saying that perhaps Imus doesn't look at cards closely when a bunch come in together? Maybe his cards are sent out by his PAC too!

5. I didn't catch that last remark by McCain. I think he meant to

put McCain on the spot with his comments about John Kerry. I think it worked too.
Did you hear McCain try to tie in Dem's with this corruption thing. He also mentioned the separate press conference by the Democrats on cleaning up Washington.
