Hillary on now. No real flattering comments about Alito from her. :-)

What he said about choice! The amazing depth and completeness of his evidence in this whole floor speech. Gorgeous!

4. Very nice arguments on balance of power |
|
both in giving people power to use the courts and in the Presidency being constrained by the other 2 branches. He seemed absolutely incensed that Alito thought it was ok to strip search a 10 year old girl or police to shot at a boy who stold a purse and for authorities to have a show of force to get farmers off land they lost due to bankrupcy.

He used examples of Alito's dangerous views that would resonate strongly with anybody, not just policy wonks. I mean, who wouldn't feel outrage at the idea of stripsearching a ten year old, or shooting an unarmed child who stole a purse? And finally, his specifically voicing concern for a woman's right to choose was wonderful. Thank you, John.

I liked him including the letters from all the caucuses too. Says alot right there.
Hillary, sure no flattering comments, didn't expect any. But she also starts with the people not being interested stuff. That and the NSA story seem too coincidental to me.

6. I found her to be a bit flat. |
|
I am not fond of her speaking style. She just doesn't seem very involving. (Is she better in person?)

8. probably when she did her own thing |
|
even then she wasn't the best. but there was something there to admire like her universal health care attempt.
a lot of what she does now seems to be her mostly just following her husband's advice and strategy. one problem with that is that while it may work for him it doesn't work for everyone.

10. Teresa and Elizabeth spoiled us |

And Barbara Boxer. We didn't used to have so many women to compare her to maybe. And look who she followed as First Lady, criminy, one of my dead house plants would have been an improvement over Babs.
