I don't want to brag, but...

WE TOLD YOU SO!!!!

Yeah, I feel vindicated. We told you Kerry was The Man while so many turned up their noses and scoffed. We told you he'd be here to save your asses. We were right. All those people who whined and complained must feel pretty bad right about now

Here's to you, John Kerry Group!

:toast:

You earned it.

John Kerry Stands Up.

Snip...

He is doing what Peter Daou and I have been advocating for a year. John Kerry is beginning to bring the traditional Democratic leadership in Washington together with the untraditional netroots activists of the country. A man often accused of being the ultimate Washington insider looked outside of the beltway and saw the concern, in fact, the distress among literally millions of online Democrats. Any one of our Senators could have stood up. But as others triangulated, fabricated, postulated and capitulated, there was only one who decide he had had enough.

Will we win? I'm not sure. But I once was on a pretty bad freshman basketball team in high school. We used to lose and lose big. But we always showed up. We always played hard. Because we knew something that a bunch of other Senators in DC don't seem to know, you might not always win if you stand up and fight. But you are guaranteed to lose if you don't.

John Kerry just answered the bell. Now it's our turn

6. OMG
Did you read his bio?? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/contributors/bio.php?nick=james-boyce&name=James%20Boyce

James Boyce is still recovering from his experience on the Kerry Campaign when he discovered that he lives in a country where a three-time decorated war hero can lose a wartime election to a chickenhawk draft dodger because of nothing but sheer incompetency by the so-called Democratic strategists and consultants who couldn't get Jessica Simpson elected prom queen of a high school prison class.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

8. Yay, this is great - but remember DU is fickle
Even in the comments there are those happy there will be an attempt to filibuster, but who wish someone else were doing it. The strangest was one saying it should have been led by Feingold or Reid - so it wouldn't be political. (Other than the fact that Reid clearly opted not to do it and no one knows Feingolds position on the filibuster.) Also, Feingold is a somewhat likely 2008 candidate - so how is he non-political.

10. WOW, what's going on ?
i was away the whole day and just signed on and when i went to DU i saw Kerry filibuster on the home page. and now all of this.

i'm not surprised by Kerry, but it is a huge difference to see the other forums positive when it comes to Kerry. i know it wont always be this way. but i'm just going to enjoy it .
