People may be getting weary, as it appears to be a lost cause. I'm not trying to be negative, but I listened to NPR this morning, and since Harry Reid doesn't support the filibuster, doesn't that mean that it's finished?
What can Kerry do now? Maybe he can give a barn storming rip roaring, Oscar deserving, emotional plea on the Senate floor, that can be nicely soundbited on the Monday evening news programs? I still remember Byrd's pleas at the IWR vote, even though he knew he was going to lose. It's a speech I'll ALWAYS remember, especially about the Constitution. Can Kerry do the same?
