3. No. It is emphatically not me.

I have no blogs or blog entries anywhere. (Yet.) I categorically deny this rumor. It is possible that I was cloned when I wasn't looking, but it was without my knowledge, without my consent and without any royalty payments. (Sigh!)

8. One of the entries I read, I could have sworn Tay Tay had written.

It sounded so much like her. In another entry, they even talk about JK's blue tie. (Which of course is not a Tay specific thang, but still.) Anyway, the site is just really well done and one of the most visually attractive blogs I've ever seen. (Not just because of all of the JK photos, but they of course don't hurt! :))

Whoever the blog belongs to is aware of our existence, in a response to a comment by Beachmom they wrote, "The JK group at DU does, indeed, seem like an oasis of sanity in an an otherwise anti-Kerry blogosphere, but hopefully we can work together to change that." That was nice!

2. The content sounds like us,

but the writing doesn't suggest any of us in particular. The kids thing has been covered at least once a month though - and she (I assume it's a she) used the picture of Kerry on the ground being hugged bu 3 or 4 kids that was new here recently.

This is a great site. I have no talent whatsoever for poetry, so I really appreciate whoever is doing this. (Hell, I can't write, I can barely spel. Poetry is beyond my meager soul. But kudos to those who can do.)

6. I wish I could take credit

But it's not me. I do think it's fabulous. Lighthearted but not fluffy and very well written. Not a traditional political blog, but not quite a fan site either.
So kudos to whoever it is, I think it's brilliant. It's one (two) of us. I'd bet on it.

But hey, we are contradicting ourselves if we assume we are the only ones who can appreciate JK. We all know and have said repeatedly how great he is--so why wouldn't there be other groups dedicated to him? There does indeed seem to be a "Kerry Underground" out there. And I suspect many, many more people have simply gone "dormant" about politics but can be revived before the next presidential. Just look at the response on Dkos when JK posted. No wonder he's seen as a threat in some quarters.

Which makes me wonder: what is the consensus at DU in general about JK now? I have not seen as many attacks lately, especially since the Alito filibuster attempt.
