A fun little exercise for a Saturday morning
http://www.selectsmart.com/plus/select.php?url=president

This has probably been around for quite a while so many of you may have already seen it.

Be sure to check out the "trivia" page after you get your results. And even better, click the link "See the most frequent top results for this selector" - I was a little (pleasantly) surprised.

3. I gave honest answers...
... (though I could have "cheated" a few times), and got Edwards first and Kerry 2nd.

5. I got Kerrry first answering honestly, but
Edited on Sat Feb-11-06 12:16 PM by ginnyinWI
what do you do with a question like "what zodiac sign..."? So I had to pick Sagittarius. :)

But I did say "dancing" --which was honest. Etc. ;) Dean was my second.

6. The same here - but as you say I knew the "right" answer
on many. I don't think I'd have picked windsurfing otherwise.

I'm like you though MH, I know all of the "right answers". :)

Just for shits & giggles I answered it again, really strangely (plays air guitar, favorite food kosher, religion = Pentecostal, etc.) and came up with 100% for both Chimpy* and Carol Moseley-Braun. That was kind of weird.

On edit: The overall results are interesting too. JK is ahead with 22.9% wanting to be his friend, while only 1.1% want to be poor Dick Gephart's friend. That could give a guy a complex.

7. JK being ahead is a lot more interesting
i think my knowledge of JK's answers to those may have made me a bit biased. although for things like religion i didn't put it as important.

but that's probably not true of so many others who did this and they probably gave all honest answers and still came up with JK. and i think that's the good thing.

but things like music, sports, his endorsements etc i knew who supported him and marked those. although i DO love it that he is so different from others and loves to windsurf, snowboard, ski etc instead of golf and jogging as is the case with most politicians. and i love that he plays guitar.

10. I worked hard at not cheating
And still ended up with Kerry in first. Edwards and Mosley-Braun, 2nd & 3rd. I got Carol because I picked antique-shopping because it was the truth, even though I suspected it isn't high on JK's list of a fun afternoon. I picked Cancer for the sign because I do like Cancers, then discovered it's Georgie's sign, ah-ha, that explains his fixation with his mother. Hmmm.
